Series of promo shots for a professional magician. He does corporate table magic, and so we used a grotty cafe to do some spoof table magic! Comments appreciated.
while they might not scream magician, they definitely bring out the quirkiness of his personality and the quirkiness that is usually associated with magicians/showmen. the concept of the 'grotty'(man, do i love that word, haven't heard it in ages) table aids in the quirkiness factor
I think you got good comments form Daniel. I do really like the expression of the magician, but if you can make it even more obvious that we are doing card tricks here I think it will help the commercial aspect of it.
Good composition. The pictures don't scream magician to me though. I'm not sure it I'm missing something due to the reduced size of the photos. I can understand the 1st and 3rd, but not the middle photo. Also, I'd like to see the brownish tile in the 3rd shot closer in color to the first to, for continuity. It is a little overexposed in relation.
Overall, I do enjoy this composition. Those were just some friendly comments with respect to this being a promo for a magician. Great work!
