About This was taken at one of those $1 to get in Street Carnivals that is going on in my neighborhood this weekend. The angle just really played tricks with the shot and lines in the light on the left is a tree that was in the shot.

As I was walking up to the carnival I did a handheld, 1/4 sec shot from the parking lot. I actually got some better technical shots with the ride still and the moon showing through the ride but at 5M with the shot resized one couldn't tell it was the moon. So I went for the abstract.

If you get a chance and want to have some fun reshoot this one:

I was shooting my wife looking into the duck pond but when I came back and looked at it, I seen all those mindless little bots floating about and thought of my workplace. It is a cool concept but the shot I took when cropped and blown up was poor quality. Get in close to those ducks.

Deja vu, Andy? This is great. I'll be posting a few more of this little event and see how you shot your. How did you get the wavy line of light?

hi andy,

i like this shot a lot, love the way the angle has given the left hand side bigger "waves" than the right.

it is a little bit of a shame that the tree was there, as a fuller image would of worked better, methinks!

but did you get to go on any of the rides??

great shot and well done

regards Andy
