thanks for the nice comment hugo de wolf i was using a sigma 105 mm macro lens and the picture is as it come out of the camera no tweaks at all but saying that on some of my other pics you still do get a bit of distortion with that lens especially when you point upwards.
Hi Richard, Great capture of lines in the subtle light of the stained glass. Well composed with the arches and the dark parts. A great cathedral, York Minster. I wonder, is it your lens (a-spherical) or did you tweak this image; there's no distortion of the perspective noticable. You wouldn't get much using a 100mm lens, but I've never managed to completely loose the distortion due to the set of lenses. Both the level of detail in the bright parts, as well as in the darker areas is stunningly beautiful. Great capture. and the repetitiveness of the columns is beautiful!~Great catch!
