Following Roger Cotgreave's advice, here is a "people" shot cropped to include just the subject. It's sharp enough on the subject, but the customer's hand and the PVC bag are quite badly blurred. What do you think?
Roger; you got the sharp focus in the right place, and I don't think foreground focus would matter much in this take. If I were to pick out a weakness, it would be the eyes of the subject. I think ideally it would be nice to have him looking at his customer rather than glancing sideways-- candids are difficult. Cheers. Craig
I think the blur does the job bringing the face expression stronger. Well balanced picture. My name :) I know it doesn?t ring any bells; I?m from Kosovo just under 40 years old and I live in London for almost 10 years, still doing photography for fun but hoping that one day I?ll take it professionally?. still feeling young :) Once again thanks for your comments, highly impressed with your range of expressions. Keep well.
The expression on the face tells a lot. The blur of the hand shows the dynamics of the event, the focus is spot on the salesman. Very good photo, Roger. Rob.
