Oh it's so sweet and gorgeous! I love this closeness and beautiful posing! Lovely details, colours and focusing! Really super! Also very interesting to read about the photo!
The reflection of the window in the eye gives a special original glare in them that looks really cool!

There is such an amazing amount of detail that I can see. The eyes are something else. The tinted glass works like a filter it seems, in warming up the colors.

Excellent this one Andy! THe quality looks very good. I....almost don't believe that you use a focal length of 400mm! Lovely, isn't it?

John, thanks for your comment. There used to be "cobbled" single pane glass in that window. You couldn't see through it. Last week we had it replaced with dual pane "Solar Bronze" glass. We can see out, but outsiders can't see in. I was happily surprised, as was our cat, to see birds feeding in the buishes just outside the window. I was also surprised to find I could shoot through the glass. I think it acts like a polarizing filter!

Nice shot, great little set-up you have. Birds can be tough to get a good shot of. If you do get close enough, they move around so much you have to be quick. This is composed very well. ........Randy
