I don't know... but I think that it is good as it is, Good work. Actually, I think both pictures of the kid are nice.
I uploaded the child's photo, the original one...if you want to check it out.

Regards,
Mohammed

Hey Sarah,

By fill flash I mean the illumination of the foreground subject to pop it out from the background. Perhaps I misread the shadow in the picture as it appears directly behind the subject. My bad.

Keep it sharp.

Jim your critique is much appreciated! The only thing I did to this image was a border and I'm not familiar with fill flash. ??? I did however consider that possibly there was not enough contrast in the picture? Unfortunately, upon uploading this image from my computer I lost quite a bit of "sharpness" and quality. I've noticed that this happens quite frequently whether I try fine tuning it with PS and even saving it special as a web photo. Any advice? :-) Thank you.

Best regards,
Sarah

What is this tike thinking? I like the shot and would only improve it by not using fill flash. Fill flash has a way of washing way fine details, like those in the wood grain of the fence.

Keep it sharp.
Jim
