Bjorn, Have you figured, how to avoid the shiney spots on the face, so that the light does not reflect off of it. I tried a studio setup (one flash off the camera kinda stuff), I got the shiney nose tip, forehead etc... Let me know if you come to know something on that lines... :-)
On this picture, you done a good job by not reflecting the off of her glass, Which means you positioned the light correctly, IMO. Thats so important. Good job.
Thanks Elangs.

hair light needs to be placed higher on the stand, you need a background light bad, for separation, and move the model about 48" away from the background adds more depth to your picture. Shoulders are too square, the back shoulder should be more towards the camera. If she's going to wear something on her neck we should be able to see it. for studio work use a 400 speed film which allows you to shoot at f/8 or f/11. Fuji 400 is great for weddings and portraits. Focus is a little soft for this lens... keep learning...

Hi Brojn, Your portfolio is very interesting and you are very good at fashion and portrait photography - items I like a lot myself. To comment on this picture: I think the lighting is great to have the face in good light and a little shadow effect on the girls back. Sharpness is good but the little comment I want to make is on crop. It is very good but it could be slightly better in my view: if you pointed the camera little bit up you would clear the very little space between the top of the head/hair and the top border of the picture. Not that this little space is disturbing to me, but on the lower part of the picture, I am interested in what it is your model has around her neck. Because it's not fully in the picture it does bother me a bit, because if it's there you should be able to see it. If you don't want to show it, just remove it completely, that's my view. You see? But this is just a minor thing on a brilliant picture. Good luck on your work and I will keep an eye on your portfolio, because I think I can learn a lot from your work! Kind regards, Cas

A good original pose that works. The inclusion of the subject's glasses is a nice touch and you have avoided reflections. I like the light placement here much better. I still think a hair light or reflector would separate her hair from the background.
