It's got a live, rounded quality to the whole image as opposed to a flat lifeless image. The light coming in from the window looks nice and even. Light like this tends to be bluish as you're seeing it, but look how nice the reddish tones are on the bread. And even with the f/4 aperture it's acceptable in terms of DOF. That has much to do with the fine lens that the 35RC has.
