About I was in the Bahamas during the taping of a CBS special with NSYNC and Tim McGraw. They weren't too happy with flash photography so I took this without and still got a good image. The sun was setting.

I appreciate the comments. I could lighten the picture to bring more out if it looks dark too you. It is hard to choose the right adjustment that looks right on everyone's monitor. I had an SLR with me and I didn't want to look like a pro looking to get some sellable images. I would have used a zoom and a flash if I wasn't afraid of intervention. There were guys telling people to stop taking flash pictures as it got darker.

Good shot, Jim! I'm glad you included the stage structure with the lights, the background as well as the crowd. It adds a very "staged" atmosphere. Nice for TV, but without enthousiasm from the spectators. I'm not sure how far away you where when you took this shot, but would a flash be useful over this distance? I like the natural lighting, as it expresses a kind of lame atmosphere. (the crowd doesn't seem to be quite into it)

In other words, I like the way you captured and conveyed the atmosphere of an indifferent crowd with the overanctious group on stage. My compliments,

Cheers,

(Sure hope you understand what I mean...)
