Although this is an older image I think it needs to be brought up again so some of the new usefilmers can take a look at it. I believe it demonstrates what can be accomplished without a computer. It shows real creative forethought. I know that I personally think too much about what can be done to an image digitally in Photoshop but if one is creative enough to add the details either while taking the photo, as Lil has done here with a simple flashlight, or when developing the photo with special chemicals, paper or developing techniques you bring out the artistic vision behind the shot. In no way do I mean to discount what can be done digitally, that takes much tought, too, but I think it's important to remember what can be done outside of the digital studio.
