About	It was an exceptionally beautiful spring and wild flowers were exploding all around the fallen tree .The tree never actually died it pushed out new leaves and blossom every February but after two people had hung themselves on nearby almond trees the farmer decided to cut down the trees and to use them and the fallen tree as firewood.February has never been quite the same since then!

I think the most appealing feature of this photo is the darkness of the tree against all the brilliance of spring - suits the tale too.

Great photo Tony. Even better story. I love the contrasts in this image: black & white - red & green - life and death. Wish you had cropped out the distracting yellow grass in the background at the top of the frame.
