I used my living room for 10 years before building a studio. clear one wall and put your background against it and shoot away. I built wooden frames and covered them with thick plastic sheeting, like a drop cloth only black so no light would come though to cover the 3 windows in the room and it made the room black enough to shoot in. I did groups of 6 people and smaller in the room and it worked great... hope this helps :) Ron

It's photos like this that make me rejoice at the newer 800-pixel uploads!
The lighting is superb but just the tiniest bit of bloom off her hand at the top.
Very casual, very intimate and inviting.
