Hi Lou, Very well balanced combination of subjects, the off center placement is perfect in assigning an equal amoutn of attention to both the lamp post as well as the blossom. I only find the structures of the houses in the lower part of the photo visible through the cherry tree a bit distracting. Cropping it off would probably ruin the composition, though. Maybe a closer position to the lampost, and shooting a bit more upward might've solved the problem, but I don't know if that was an option. Beautiful capture of the true spring spirit,

Ooh... you have come a lot further with spring than we in Sweden have! Here all the trees are still "naked". When I see this wonderful photo of yours I feel "ooh, soon it will be like this here too". Wonderful details, composition and feeling in this! Very beautiful lamp too!
