i like the first one more .. i'd like to through those on the left out of focus .. u could achieve that by moving the one on the right forwards or backwards enough to blur the others.

hi, nice macro with great DOF and lighting...color is very vivid... ( i agree with your statement! ;D )First one is better,look at the side light hitting the single one...yeah,background needs some cleaning...regards,gayle

It would be tempting to choose the first red one, the effects seem to clean it up a bit. I still like the colors of the original best. Maybe a small amount of Gaussian blur on the gray background to smooth it up a tad so it appears as it does in the red pictures.

I like them both a lot, but I think I like the first one best. Beautiful and original capture! My four year old likes the one with the red background best, and Kees says he likes the one with the red background best too. I guess I'm outnumbered! Either way, it's an excellent photo!
