David, thats exactly how it looked. I exposed for the sun screen behind and hoped for the foreground to show up. And it did and I guess I was just lucky. It could have been a total darkness instead. Thank you for your nice words. Regards, ken.

Incredible mood on this shot. You can almost feel the storm, the winds, the driving rain. I love the way that rock at sea is a bit blurred, I think it really contributes to the whole mood.
You are very fortunate to live in such a place and have a chance to go out and photograph in such a light. Photography is about light, not about technical details. Keep your camera ou auto and yu eye on "manual", if you see what I mean :)
