About Can anyone suggest how to get more DOF when photographing model train layouts..I shot this at F32 @35mm for 3 sec. But was not happy with the dof. Thank for you comments and suggestions. Bill

Good close-up and nice layout too. Were you looking to decrease the DOF in order to blur out the background a little? I would think you'd want to do that to make it more realistic. Looks like you obtained max DOF so I am assuming you want to obtain less.

Excellent composition, splendid colors and lovely mood! I agree with Daniel Guerin when he comments about DOF. He's right...this picture is really fantastic.
Happy Easter! Hugo.

Looks fine too me I don't know how you could get it any better looks almost real except for the sky. Excellent detail I like it. I know I'm my worst critic for I seek perfection too.

Heh, it's great. From here, the majority of the picture seems to be in focus. To extend further, I suppose only get further away from the model may help but then that might ruin your composition. If you'd not have mentioned it, the thought of DOF wouldn't have even crossed my mind so I wouldn't worry too much about it! Great work, well done.
