"In my mind's eyes you try getting better. In your mind's eyes I smile.
In your mind's eyes I stop words of anger. In my mind's eyes you're mine.
In my mind's eyes you never let me down. In your mind's eyes I'm yours.
In my mind's eyes when things can't get tougher you sometimes let go.
If I'm wrong If I am dreaming If I'm joking now our life our life has proved successful in our own mind's eyes..." By Mary V. I spotted this couple in Leipzig, Germany in 1999 at a park while taking ... contradictory portraits. You know what to do in onder to read the rest of the poem! Sometimes the outside differs from the inside... is this the reason why things carrying visual attributes other than the ones expected shock us??
Mary, I have been going back into your portfolio, love your works, poems, and saw this shot! Cool!!! It reminds me of this one of my son and his friend. Play safe, James
Dear Jaap, actually it is NOT an old-fashioned couple. Quite the opposite!! This was a game with the words to refer to the posture of the young people. The way they sit, and the background. I did not know them, I found them in the park while taking photos of a festival in Leipzig, but to my mind this is a very old-fashioned photo that escapes its topic. i try not to place things in their original nature. Unfortunately, I did not scan this photo very well I'm afraid. The tones are not so distinct. I printed the photo in ILFORD MGIV (Multigrade IV) RC De Luxe and the tones are ok, very interesting. Thanx
