Hi Vance, what lighting setup are you using. It seems a bit harsh. Ruta could be right about the black/white. Kaylin is a lovely model but not used to her full potential in this series. Look forward to more posts. Cliff
Don't know if I prefer this lighting or that one of the picture I gave critique before. In this one there is very big shadow on the right side, that I don't like too much. The background and her dresses colors are not matching together, that is the reason, why I would try how it looks in black ands white. She looks more relaxed in this picture, the in another one. But, I still don't like too much the central pose (ok, it's always matter of taste). I'm learning many things from photographers like Ruth Bernhard, Sally Mann. There's a lot to lear from their pictures about poses. The skin is not burned in this picture, but again, I'ld suggest to try some different set-up of lighting, as I care a lot the color of skin - shadows on the skin. In this picture what is absent - the catch light in the eyes. Hope this will help you. Regards
