About This was influenced by another photo I saw on usefilm (I can't find it right now) but is certainly nowhere near as good. I used my usual style of elaborate but cheap set-ups (this time I upgraded to halogen desklamps instead of just a bicycle lamp!). If anyone is interested in knowing exactly how, please email me. Photoshop provided the tools to smooth, sharpen and most of all, remove the tungsten cast and apply this gorgeous blue.

As always, your comments are very welcome.

Daniel you did excellnt job on this photo, the blue color gives it freshness. Water looks clean and nice. As we come to light I bought few weeks ago tungsten light 500W for approx. 7Euro or 8USD. It is perfect for photos like these.
regards,
Danijel

Nice picture. I?m not the purist to check if it is upright ,at an exacting 90?, but in my bio I say why.The first impression, the general look is what matters in my comment .Ilike your photo.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I agree with you entirely but this is the best I could manage with the lighting I have. Save using 800iso film or buying expensive lighting/faster lens which I can't afford, I'm not sure how I could push it faster. I might experiment some more some time. If you have any tips to achieve this, I would love to hear from you.

Regards.

It is a very good photo. Do you think if the shutter speed was a little bit faster and the bubbles of water inside the glass were still and sharp, will made the photo a little bit better? It would look something like liquid ice but I kind of like the idea ...maybe I ought to try it myself.
