excelente composición, pareciera que las tres fotos fueran una sola.

yessir! i LOVE Mondrian, and his influence on architecture was/is huge. i'm not sure what year this was built, but the architect (rapson?) def. had mondrian in his mind when he designed it.

thanks for the comments

Todd, excellent photo of The Riverside Apartments. Those color variations remind me of Mondrian's paintings.

well i'm not sure what i think about this as a tryptich. i tried for a long time to find something instead of the left photo, but nothing seemed to fit. i like the middle one a lot, but i prefer it in a series rather than alone. maybe i'll repost with a diff. photo on the left. thanks for the comments guys!

oh and kostas-i'm embarrassed to admit that i couldn't even name one husker du song. isn't that pathetic? i really do need to check out an album some time. oh, and i don't like prince... i'm a minneapolis outcast. :)

Mr. Miller! I am thrilled to see you posting while I've been away! I have to disagree with Mr. Tzanetos, this triptych is amazing. I think it is bcz you've applied threee rules of composition - 1/3s, square, and diagonal. it tells a story of the city being a lonely place yet inhabitated and productive. i agree that the image in the middle is my favorite and would stand strong on it's own but you've created a story line with all three images and the concept that i get out of it is pretty rad. so do you have any advice on how to make a boy like me bcz cowboy is being a pain! lol, gtg, bye!

although this triptych is an interesting idea ,mr.Miller, I think the tale in the middle would make a great image by itself. I'm not that impressed by the other two pictures and they seem too weak compared to the eye-catching middle one,but since it's your choice I can't but respect it ;-)

btw,my favorite tale from Minneapolis is called 'HuskerDu'. I just love their 'ZenArcade' chapter!

be happy my friend
