Adriana - quite a strong image that gives the feeling of the title. Being in a new country away from home can be extremely lonely. I think you've conveyed this very well in the image.
It is good cropping too; normally it is better to leave more space in front of the face (for the subject to look into) but in your image, I think the tight cropping is fine.
I think to increase the contrast would possibly create an even stronger image.
