Another live shot. As you can see from this one, the lighting was interesting, but changed so much that it was a challenge to get an exposure and stick to it.
yeah, they are really good, ive been listening to them since i was in 9th grade, or so, probably about 10 years.... dixie was then, front porch stories is now, awesome band, very good show's but i never got to take pic's... shame
Avail is my fav band right now, with Kid Dynamite/None More Black a close second.
They were so cool with the shooting. I saw them 2 nights in a row. I shot the first and they let me have free range on the stage. Though they warned me that they were not responsible if I got tackled on accident :)
The second night I showed them the photos and they were psyched. Tim was sending the ones of him to his drum kit maker. They said I could shoot more, but the second night was for me to just go off to the music. Probably the best live band I have ever seen!
avail is awesome, i grew up in VA, went to school in richmond which is where they are from, and actually have an avail sticker on my car right now in CO.... amazing hardcore band, and one of my fav's, i look forward to more of your work kevin
i enjoy the red tone to this one, and the blacks are well developed too
