I one read and article of a australian photographer (witch I don't recall the name now) and he was ask "How he made such wonder photos" His answer was this. Many people go to take a picture with lots a fancy equipment stay for 5 minutes snap a few shots and then leave. He just go very early, set the camera then wait for the right moment, the right light and then take his photos.
It strike me like you do the same. Congratulatios!!
Absolutely beautiful, as are all of your photos. You really know how to make the colors of the desert "pop". I haven't gotten over to Monument Valley yet, but will do in the near future.
By the way, I know what you mean by loneliness. Try going to the Trona Pinnacles here in california.
