I keep coming back to this. It's just irresistable. I like how there seem to be three separate layers, the purple, the green, and the black. I like the sensation of depth.

I think you have reached a mastery in your post-processing. I really like the light abstract effect your images gain, it serves the composition and the light capture rather than superimposes itself.

Pink petals reaching to all ends of the frame... they really give a nice flow to the image. I wonder though, if the leaves at the bottom are a little too bright and compete with the flower. I'm on the fence on that one, because in a way having the burst of colour down there really emphasizes that it's a plant, and growing from the ground. Still, lovely the painterly quality as well as the background on the flower turning pink! I never knew that! (but then again, I'm not sure if we have Trillium over here...)
