About An illuminated jellyfish at Aquarium of The Americas in New Orleans. Slow speed required a tripod. Fortunely, it wasn't moving fast.

Paul..........is the job getting to ya, man? The quark bar, the jelly fish, my gardener.....the whole alien thingy is creeping into yer dried lobe...wait..that was my dried lobe...well, you know. I like the color and will nay hold the focus agin ya. The dang things should just stop when they are being captured.

Wow! Great alien effect. I like the tilt of the jellyfish, as it gives the impression it's heading in a small change of course (which it might well be doing). Very well composed. The slight noise gives the impression of a large zoom or a high ISO value, but it adds to the ET factor of this shot. Only a very minor thing, but why did you center it vertically? Just wondering, no critisism....;o)

This shows exactly what I like about digital... It's one of the shots I would never have taken with a film camera, but even if it was film, it was a frame well spent! Great shot!

Cheers,

Hugo

Very good composition and lighting. The illumination of the jellyfish really gives it a surreal touch.
