Yes, its the same magnolia that I've photographed before. Not to worry: All of the blossoms are gone now.
This time, I used an old Chinon M42 screw-mount SLR, and a Vivitar f/1.8 50mm lens. The lens has a 1 cm - scratch on the rear element, that doesn't seem to do any harm. Because of the scratch, I was able to buy the lens for just 99 cents.
I like the background "bokeh" more than the flower.
