Mark, this would have been better if the whole tail had been in the photo, but these little birds are very hard to capture because they flitter about so much. They are hardly still for more than a second. I just kept my fingers crossed and kept shooting--pretty tricky, when you think about it:)

I don't think the slower shutter speed's done anything to reduce it in any way. Even the DOF is good. It's quite a capture. I do wish you got the tip of her tail feathers, though. Overall, I do think it's excellent.
