at first I thought you had used a long telephot lens to create the blurring in the background...when I enlarged the image i realised that u have used motion blur in PS. Would have preffered if the blur was lens created as opposed to the way it is done here. I find it too distracting and disturbingly artificial...

Very nice and interesting capture! Is it motion blur you used on background? It feels like if the man is swinging that "thing" around, and as he is doing it the whole world is rotating with it! Cool!
