Magnificent colors and textures! This reminds me of crepe paper. I have the big red dinner plate hibiscus, the perennials. They should be blooming before long, and a white one with a red center. I was never able to get a shot I liked last year. I'll try to isolate them with something this year and post a shot. Very well done, Glenn. Regards , Rebecca

Glenn my dear - your focus is spot on!! LOVE the dark background and DOF! You have achieved a 3D effect; the colours are stunning (where does SHE get them from??!!) and the crop is just great.
This is how I like to see the Hibiscus. The plant has ugly and hard stems, the leaves are so big, and I found that either covering the whole image with the petals, or having a very very dark background (like yours) works best for this flower.
Wonderful, wonderful! and the best of your Hibiscus series by far! I envy you my dear, for having such a beautiful specimen a horse-gallop away
(((HUGS))) to our Sue as well Linn
