Interesting optical illusion. If you move back and forth the image sort of wobbles in and out.

such a strange and interesting image. I am also not sure that so much zooming works here. The black border is great, though, and everything else.

!thanks for posting this

Irma.

Anne...

Wow, I love this shot. So surreal and menancing. It has a David Lynch feel to it, almost a dream turned bad kind of thing. Wonderful.

If it was not for the 'About', I would scream 'PG' and 'RestrictedViewing'... for such language that the photographer screams...

She walked along... the cyclist whizzed... and she opted to pose for her camera...

i.e.MSP

Anne, excuse if I insist.

I have a question for you. Why you have cancelled the photo of the race with the wheelchairs? That photo has a lot to me affected and moved. I still make many you compliments. Besos Tore

very interesting photo.. I like the mood and the effect from the zoom.. agree with others that it may not be needed but I think it looks good with... or without. the words don't do much for me in this image because the rest of the image portrays different emotions... but it did get people's attention :) the tone and lighting is very good.. overall the composition and the effects definitely create a story behind the image. Good work

Amazing portrait, Anne!
Excellent, stunning effect and reflections. Great tones too. Congrats!
Cheers, Paolo

P.S. A real pitty for those dark glasses in your main page portrait. :)

Anne,

Another challenging image, with lots going on, lots of little details and one has to look at it closely, get intimate with the image. Which is not always easy with all that blur... It gets quite stressing on the eyes.

But I guess that's part of your style or your current "phase". It's your vision, so use whatever tools make it look right. And this is definitely effective.

Anne,

I can see why some will like this image and why some won't. I don't exactly not wether I like it or not, but it makes me think and rethink over and over again. That, for me, is the power of this one and as being so, I don't care to like it or not, it's intriguing, challanging and that's enough for me. For now....

Compliments for doing and for chalanging (yourslef as well, I think),

Jeroen

PS: hope I made any sense...

I wish there was a little less radial blur, Anne, on this one. The faint reflection of the person looking through the glass is good, it is as it should be, however, the reclining woman could use a little more clarity as with the motorcycle. The 'F**K Me' on the wall detracts for some reason, for me at least. Not because it is a curse, it justs seems completely irrelevant and comes across as vulgar rather than gritty.

Hi Annie... Looks like I am with the majority on this one ...the zoom is too heavy for the subject. There are more ways than one to concentrate the viewers attention.

Hugh Hill   {K:1618} 6/7/2004
And he say's "which one?"

The image here shows the fantasies of many men but which of the desires here is the stronger - the need for speed.

Intriguing image Anne, gives me the impression that her guardian angel has become enchanted by her, let's just say - Appeal.

F**k Me?

Hmmm...

Anne... Anne... Are we ever gonna see a straight shot without zoom???? On this case it doesn't really add anything to the picture.

It actually gives me a headache.

:-/
