The definative Dutch house cat, beautiful and well looked after. This cat was in a famous completely squatted village back in 1998 outside Amsterdam. The entire village was shortly afterwards evicted and demolished to make way for a new harbour terminal. The image is not so well reproduced here. This will probably be my last cat photo in a while since I'm running out of stock. The cats here in Korea are either wild or on strings for there entire life by deisel fume chocked streets. Having a pet here is like owning a toy and I find it difficult to explain to my students that cats back home live almost like gods and are actually very nice animals. The restaurant below, no don't scream, have adopted some wild cats and one she cat has just had a litter of tabbies. Some people like cats here and it's not even for soup.
The beautiful cat has it's own lovely framing by the window and brick building! Great catch! I like the story with the photo! My cat doesn't realize how lucky he is! :) Carolyn
