Hi Lucy I think this a great shot,fantastic light,colours and tones,great composition.
It kinda reminds me of Venice and the Gondilla`s.
Its true what the others say its got that http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=water&v=56 colour look about it , Something I have been trying for many years with my portraits I also dont think its out of focus as someone mentioned, what it has is softness.

Hi Lucy, isn't the song title "lovely Rita meter maid"? not lovely liverpool ;-) i think you got a good result from a disposable camera and looking at your other work it shows you have a good eye. the liver birds..I used to live in chester but sailed and worked from liverpool...maybe you should of gone all out and made it look like a watercolour...it has a fairland quality to it..nice
