I think what you need at this stage is to practise how to focus on your subject, if you have a digital camera it would be much easier as you do not have to wait for the prints to see the result. In all the three pics the main problem is the focus , you can see that they are not sharp and blur (am not try to be hard on you) my first pic was the same :-).

I like these flowers, with beautiful background. However, i wish the flowers are sharper a bit. I allowed myself to adjust the sharpness and the contrast, hope its ok with you.
