Yes, the Ragdoll is known for it's beautiful blue eyes ... the deeper the blue, the better.
However, I sent my images to the publisher "as is" as I figured they would do the correct colour adjustments as they should know their printers' "set-up". They have used excessive PS work on my images in that some of the cats' eye colour and some backgrounds are not true colour.
Having said that, I do have exceptional eye colour in my Ragdolls though :-)

Hey Chris, you can call me anything, just don't call me old and ugly :-))
Thursdays I have the garden service come around and on a couple of occasions, I was preparing to shoot some florals on our front porch just when they arrived. The owner of the garden services LOVES to help me "set up" and then proudly tells everybody of "our" images!
Today he is out of luck because I am still waiting for some buds to open more before I can shoot them.

Yes, yesterday was a good day for you, Robert and I :-) I got my magazine in the post yesterday afternoon and believe me, my hands trembled when I paged to the article :-) Everybody has been nagging me to call the editor to find out if he used my images or not ... but I figured I would rather see the results in print. And obviously I am very, very chuffed :-))
Are you also still on Cloud 9? :-))

Thanks :-)) I think what makes anything successful is the passion behind it. Because I love my cats and the Ragdoll breed so much, I put a lot of effort into everything concerning them and the breed.
As for photography - heck, I would never ever have thought I would get so passionate over it! I have taken thousands of "cat snapshots" since 2000, but only since mid January 2004 did I really get into it, when I got the Z1 from my "own Santa" :-)
This is like a "new awakening" ... and I think you will understand what I mean? :-)) Nothing that I look at is seen with my "old eyes". It's as if a new world has opened up for me :-)
