Hi Jim,
I tried this in many ways and this seemed to me to be the best of the lot. I went a bit further to the left - right on the edge of the cliff - but still had the road in the frame. When it was out of the frame so was most of the beach!

This stretch of the coast is so amazingly beautiful. Great capture! It makes me want to drive to Big Sur and on to Morro Bay. My one nit is the road or path on the right corner is a bit distracting to the eye. I don't know if taking a portrait formatted image would have made a difference. Either way great exposure and excellent color saturation.

Very nice vivid blue colours! I like the composition as well with the coast receding into the background.
