About
Henry Chapman Mercer was an archeologist, historian, lawyer, artist and architect who was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania in 1856. He built the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works (which produced his ceramic tiles), the Mercer Museum (housing his collection of historical tools and artifacts), and Fonthill (his private residence). All three buildings were constructed entirely of concrete. Mercer lived in Fonthill from its completion in 1912 until his death in 1930. It became a public museum in 1975.

This was originally shot in color, then I converted to greyscale and sepia images. Since I can only upload one image within any 24 hour period, I created a triptych to include all three. In short --- I cheated!
