Oh what a fantastic combination of colours! The butterfly is beautiful and so sharp, and the red flowers in background adds so much extra beauty!
Personally I totally disagree with that background should be b&w. The vivid green and red is really VERY beautiful for me! And then the yeloowish butterfly on top of that is GREAT!

Great saturated colors, but as much as I like them they distract focus from the butterfly. The green is a little overwhelming. I like the use of shallow depth of field. That works very well here. I might also recommend positioning your subject off center next time around. The butterfly is just about perfectly centered in your image. I have a feeling this image would be an excellent color seperation project in PS. Keeping the butterfly in color and the desaturating the background to B&W would look pretty sharp. Just a thought...
