Hi Hugo, thanks for your kind comment.Thats exactly, what I did...because I wanted to sharpen it,and to intensify the dark sky.And in PS the background is grey and I realized it only, when already uploaded.
Many thanks,Ursula

Hi Ursula, I love the low camera position. The bugs eye view creates a very intriguing view through the field in stead of "OF" the field. I agree, there's some image loss. Did you manipulate this image frequenlty (and saved it as a JPEG) prior to uploading? that will always result in loss of quality. Other than that, a fantastic shot.

Cheers,

Hugo

Thanks for you kind comment.
I liked so much the poppies too, and for the first time I saw them in the field, as we don?t have this flowers in Brasil, and I have tried some pictures of them here in Sweden, and it?s not so easy... :)
So, congratulations for your shots here.
Regards, Márcia.

Yes, it is a little bit blurry, or pixelised, especially around the poppies... But same time really so beautiful! Wonderful colours and mood, and really lovely capture!

I get problems with the pixels ,and I`m no expert in photoshopping ;)

Ursula,

I own a Canon G3 too. Its a good camera as we can see by your photo taken above.

As you right said in the "about" field, it could be sharper.

Try to resample your photo and apply "unsharp mask" to sharp it just a little more.

When saving the new photo as "JPG", apply about 15% compression only in the final moment.

The colors are really well saturated. Good photo.

Dear Ursula,
I have done it in ?MS Picture it?. I just feel fixing such details of the pixels is more effective with ?Picture it? than ?PS?. In this shot the sky pixels were to needed optimizing so the feature tool to be used more effectively than others is ?Remove Scratch?. That tool would soften the sky to a very good and acceptable result. Cheers my friend.

Great perspective! I love the colors of the different flowers and the drama in the sky. The pixelation problems detract from this image, but I am sure that the original is terrific. All the best!

Lovely composition and colours. I don't know if the pixelation issues has affected the rest of the image as it looks both soft and suffering from sharpening artefacts! Nevermind, the technical issue doesn't detract from a great shot.

It is still a good picture of lovely poppies. I am sure you can take care of the sky issue. I tried it here and that is how it was turned out. Cheers Ursula.
