hello there, it is grainy because i was using high speed colour film with a 300 f2.8 and no flash.
the photo was taken at night only lighted by the stadium's flood lights.

This is a wonderful action shot. Just look at those serious expressions. Why are some of your pictures so grainy? I don't think its my computer.
