About	So, I put my selfmade extension tubes on my old Praktica and I shot a whole film. I'm a little bit dissapointed, because I have "hit" only a few shots. For the rest I was out of focus. I'm sure I need more practice. This one is "out of the box", nothing adjusted, not even croping. The flower is called in Banat the "Stone Flower". I don't know its scientifical name. Well, I guess the equipment works fine, I need to do something with my hands :)

Thanks a lot Stephen! I had to deal also with wind in the missed shots, so I guess I was not quick enough to shoot when the subject was focused :) Maybe next time I'll do better.

Gorgeous floral macro Florin. Please keep trying with the extension tubes, it does take some practice as the focus range is very VERY narrow.
It may be easier to pre-focus on something still (maybe inside the house), make a mental note of the distance and then go outside to take the photo at exactly the same distance.
