Nice capture. I have gone through your collection. I think we have the same kind of taste in photography. I am also from Kolkata and I use to take lot of snaps of river ganga.

IMO this would work better if the boat being pulled had been included in the frame and the others were not there. The attention is torn between the pattern formed by the repeating boat form and the dynamics between the majhi and his boat. Looks like two different major subjects in the same frame. That is why your other image works better.
