dear stefan,
this i call a perfect photo-graphic! the point is, one never knows how the panning turns out but in a case like this the result then is even more overwhelming. great work!

This works for me, Stefan, especially because of your about text: Dynamic/static.... The motion blur in combination with the in essence static object. Very well captured, technically. The Dynamic/static notion is left to the viewers imagination....

Cheers,

Hugo

Thanks Stefan ... that's what I thought you did. I got the G5 Wednesday and so far I love it .... It does allot more than my G2, and I mean allot .... It's lighter, super fast and I love it's looks .... hehehehe. I saw that Canon are also offering a G3 buy back program to get a G5.... the other good thing is that it came with a new battery and you get to keep the old one plus all the other accessories....
Take care ,
Stuart.

I always knew you are a rare artist... but it is noce to have the indication all too often, I love it..
this is a piece of art, it is morning here ... a better one after what I just saw!
definitely an image that belongs to the "And Also The trees" concept...Trees are beauties...the best tree portrait I have seen, worthy of your artistic background and a step forward to photography!

Stuart - panning down while grabbing the photo (no PS here...) Since the trees are generally vertical too you get sharp edges along that direction :-)

What a great effect this created, Stefan! I'm guessing you panned up or down while clicking? The result is a wonderfully fluid composition and beautifully soft light - the streaking give me the impression of rain or wind... Excellent!

Pretty cool ... I guess this is what it would look like if you were falling from the top of it ...hopefully I will never get to see this for real ... so how did you do it.
Stuart.
