This is a shot I took in Istanbul on a boat ride along the Bosphorus. These are historical Ottoman Homes along the Bosphorus. If you are a world history buff, you probably are aware of the significance and prestige of these homes(or if you live in Turkey)They sell in the millions and the view is absolutely incredible. But if you can't afford a Yali, you can always enjoy the view from one of the restaurants/cafes (see picture) which in my opinion is worth millions +some in the experience. Next time I am in Istanbul, I intend to stop by for a coffee/tea at one of these many cafes along the Bosphorus. The boat ride was spectacular, and I saw many sites that I wanted to come back to. Luckily I took many pictures, so I can use them as a reference for the next time I go.
It's a bit soft/blurry, but it definately captures the feel of the locale. It makes me want to visit. I am a history buff, but am unfamiliar with the prestige of these homes..but I'll be sure to check it out. Regards, Luke
