Excellent, very unique - original landscape as the ground looks like being in...Mars planet! Lol...I could give a red - orange tone on that and...that is it! You went to Mars!!!!!!!!

Very cool image Bob..My first thought was how cool it would be if the moon was over the mountains. Great color, very well composed with the low camera angle. You have some may types of landscapes out your way...have to travel a long ways from south florida for anything to change in the landscape. I enjoy seeing it from your camera lens! Best wishes, Bill

I wanted to take the a photograph just a little farther back on the road but it was freeway and I might have gotten into trouble for pulling off but there much better detail there with the morning sun.

Hi Robert, The low camera position in combination with the wide atmosphere stress the wideness of these salt plains. well framed by the mountains in the background. THe rocks and rather long shadows add the finishing touch. Very well captured and exposed.
TThe only thing that might possibly improve this shot is something to grab and hold the viewers attention. I'm thinking in lines of the weather station mast in Tom Rumlands' image "Extremes"..

Hard to tell if you used a PL filter, but if you did, it could use a tad more, increasing the saturation and intensity of the gradient in the sky.
