About	Found this little guy, about 1" long, in my backyard garden. This is one of the smaller species of damselflies and are difficult to find and photograph. Use a Nikon 300mm lens with 68mm of extension, Ambient light only, very late aftenoon, ISO-200, NEF Raw, Tripod with mirror lockup, 60% of full frame.

Oh my gosh!! This thing is amazing! He is PERFECT! Wonderful wings, red spot, great composition.

PErfect detail, right down to the tiny hairs on his back and underneath and 'beard'...LOL
