Location City -  Citadel
State -  AL-QALAA
Country - Egypt   Egypt
About Salah-Al-Din, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali is located on the northern elevated part known as Al-Qalaa (the Citadel). It was constructed by Salah-Al-Din Al-Ayyubi (Saladin) in AD 1183.
Saladin overlooks the city of Cairo from the Muqattam Hills.
This magnificent Architecture is visible to most parts of Cairo

but hey!....there's a Cafe' opposite to it we like to call it "Scorpion's", as a nickname, due to little visitors that may climb people's feet and legs:
- "watch for for the stings!" ... it's commonly heard!
...but the insects are harmless.
They got used to people sipping coffee and eating light crunchy 'aesh' pitta bread type and 'homus' all day.
They kinda like the people too!

Yes... i feel it's time for us to drink some coffee and read the news, as this fellow from England is doing, catching up with the latest news while he enjoys his Egyptian Trip.
*wink*
hey UF folks... have You met this guy before?!?
This is a little token of our appreciation to a good Friend that has been of great help to encourage my univ. students, as well as my self, to continuous grow in the Learning Curve!
... in order to became better persons each day... with nothing else, BUT, what's within our grasp!!!

Yes, STEPHEN BOWDEN, this is for You...
as well as to ELIZABETH JORGE, my Coordinator at Estacio de Sa' University, on Your Birthday:
July 28th.!!!

hello there, Mohamed: welcome to UseFilm!!!

You will find here a great environment to check on our UF Family Members' works and they will respond to Your Comments to their photographs in a very nice way, you'll see, and they will gradually get used to come visit Your work too...
You will have pleasant surprises!

*wink*
sorry i took a little to respond, but i was away for business purposes...

To answre Your :
yes, the young guy on a motorcicle was taken from another picture of mine, made in Risorgimento Square in Italy, and added using PS to cover the lady head that was "polluting" the image...
AND at the same time, praise one of our Dearest UF Members, STEPHEN BOWDEN, whose BirthDay was celebrated that day...

if i asked S.Bowden to send me a picture of his through e-mail, he would have guessed my surprise-present...
so i had to run through my other shots, to find someone who looked like him... so i could digitally import to this recent upload.

Hope You liked it, Mohamed!

Congratulations for Your "Sun eye, two hands" in Your Portfolio!!!

kind regards and i look forward to Your new submissions soon,
Regina

i would have asked You to send me through e-mail another motorcicle photograph of Yours, but You would have guessed... so i chose on going through my shots in Italy, as i recall i had a nice gentleman posing for me once at Popolo Square.

All i had to do is use "Lasso" and get the motorcicle Zen guy be brought into Egypt in a sec... *sparkle*

Hope You had a Ball, Steve... 'cause i enjoyed so much working on PS just for You!

hiya, Emmanuel!

was this taken in a pannel that you fit yor face in little holes at one end and on the other side there are difference scenes often seen at Theme Parks?
... or your baby-boy was really riding a big moose and you held the firing gun in case the animal fleed scaring your kid away?

my Best,

What distinguishes a journey from a vacation is that on a journey it is total trip, from start to end,it is travelling experience supplies the challenge and fun, rather just the destination.
Thats what I found in your travell image here, and I like the creativty along with the perfect shot, super.Shokran Maa` Salamah,Saeed

nice Family photo, Emamnuel...my compliments on Your kid riding this huge animal!

sorry i can't enjoy guns at all... it's within me and my history in Life.
it's Okay, Emmanuel...
i feel, everyone has their own History, right?!?
i gone through therapy and healed.
i do oil painting now (the past two years) and i feel i could be assigned to cover War on work and i would do that professionaly.
one can never predict Future, it seems...
but i can make choices that are up on me to decide, within my grasp, that is.
this is why i take each day at as it comes...
when it comes... IF it comes. *wink*

i am fine, thanks for your concern, Emmanuel.

kind regards,
Regina

hello there Emmanuel, thank You for posting a Comment about my work.

oh, yeah... You mean the guy wearing a kitty wig and unfortunately carrying a gun?!?
sorry... haven't met this one in Life.
i don't like guns AT ALL.
i lost someone veeery dear to me due to a car theft from a 9 year-old boy in front of my house a couple years ago and i was saved by a passing-by policeman that scared the kid away...
so the Policeman saved my Life, but my school sweetheart and husband-to-be, died at the age of 37, exact six months b4 the day he asked me to marry him...
sad story: the helicopter pilot died and i got saved... still not in fond of violence, nor guns at all, Emmanuel.
sorry... i humbly believe it's a two-way road: Action and Reaction Universal Law.

whatever we do in Life, it comes back to us...
if we plant seeds of Love.... it will come right back at us and the ones we care about.

non-violence is my motto inspired by mr. Gandhi.

my Best,
Regina
