Ero in Austria, vicino Lienz, vagabondando, nel retro di una strana chiesa questo crocifisso a muro, non poi tanto alto. Ho pensato di riprenderlo dal basso, più in basso possibile, pancia a terra, grandangolare, a realizzare un'immagine che mi sembrava molto evocativa, drammatica, imponente... simile all'inversione prospettica di un celebre dipinto di Salvador Dalì, che raffigura invece il Cristo in croce dall'alto verso il basso... Peccato per la presenza di quella tettoia, boh... comunque aiuta ad isolare la figura del Cristo, bianco su nero, altrimenti forse si sarebbe mimetizzata con i toni e la texture del muro... Versione b/n, forse la più drammatica.
I was in Austria, near Lienz, wandering about, in the back of a strange church this crucifix to wall, not then so much tall. I have thought about taking back it from the lower part, more in possible lower part, earth belly, to realize an image that seemed me very evocative, dramatic, imposing... similar to the perspective inversion of a famous painting of El Salvador Give them, that it represents downward instead the Christ in cross from the tall one... Sin for the presence of that roofing, boh... however it helps to isolate the figure of the Christ, white on black, otherwise he would perhaps be camouflaged with the tones and the texture of the wall... Version b/w, perhaps the most dramatic.
stunning angle and perspective. bw is fine by me, but I would think about a different depth of focus to get the statue more sharp. just an idea =) take care, thilo
Assolutamente strabiliante, prospettiva insolita ma efficace, scusa ma forse volevi dire SCHIENA a terra, faccio fatica a pensare a questa inquadratura con pancia a terra!. Molto bravo. Ciao
It would have been strong if there had not been the cross, with the bright cross, very beautiful, so I find it a bit useless... the figure of the Christ is devoured... beautiful tonalities, however. hi AF
