Haven't heard a lot from you in the last months.

Good timing. Not comfortable with all that lateral space, I think it would work better in a portrait orientation.

Hey bro,
you're probably right with the airplane. if the photograph itself would be more focused, I would for sure delete the airplane. with the soft focus I think the airplane adds a useful extra element.

Hi Udo,
die idee mit dem masten ist schon nicht verkehrt.. allerdings würden dann die stromlinien rechts im nichts landen.. und ich müsste das ultra widescreen format etwas reduzieren... deshalb würde ich vermutlich beim nächsten mal besser aufpassen und den masten GANZ fotografieren =)

oha, schön bunt der himmel über franken....im ernst, sehr tolle farben aber vor allem lebt das bild durch die gegenläufigkeit der stromleitungen, die eine sehr gute dynamik ins bild bringen. rechts den masten hätte ich vielleicht rausgelassen aber ist das mein bild? nein....

...would work for me without the airplane, even when it was a pain in the neck to do the timing on that. I like the strong dymanic through the power lines. Great colors. Bravo!

I like the crop and the cross between the cables, the colours too.
Maybe a little bit out of focus but with this condition maybe was the best u could do.
I like it anyway.

ja wenn ich nicht so faul wäre.... meist ist mir ein stativ einfach zu nervig. ich sollte es öfter mit einem einbein probieren, da hält sich der nervfaktor in grenzen.

Hi Neil,
nein, nicht falsch verstehen: ich hab da volles verständnis dafür, dass man nicht jedes bild kommentieren kann. wollte nur mal hören, ob du noch lebst. manchmal sind ja leute hier schnell eingeschnappt wegen irgendeines kommentares... ;-)
ich finde auch, dass das hier wie ein spinnennetz aussieht. "spiderman" o.ä. war auch ne titelalternative für mich =)
und ja, das sind natürlich sterne. gut gesehen.

as for the white spots: these are stars like Neil said. Thought about removing them but then rejected as they are just THERE at the moment =)

super Aufnahme ohne Stativ, sieht sehr interessant aus mit den Stromlinien, ich denke mit Stativ hättest du den Jet noch schärfer hinbekommen, die Farben am Himmel sind ja nur super!!!
Das Canon50,1,8II für nur 99? ist wirklich ein sehr gutes Allround-Objektiv, ausreichend für Portraits (x1,6)

Hallo Thilo, schönes Bild was mich sehr an eine Spinnennetz und eine Fliege erinnerte. Die Stromlinien und Telefonkabel sehen wirklich aus wie eine Netz findest du nicht?
Ich denke die Antwort auf Eriks Frage ist Klar, dass sind Sterne! "Dust" sieht man meistens wenn man abgeblendet hat > f16.
Tut mir leid, dass ich dir nicht immer "comments" schreiben kann, Thilo. Ich habe viel ob im Moment und es ist ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit immer alle zu schreiben. Ich versuche einfach die Bilder die mir wirklich ansprechen, oder wo ich wirklich Hilfe und gute Kritik anbieten kann zu kommentieren, und dann um so ausführlicher! Hoffe, dass du Verständnis dafür hast! Das heisst aber nicht, dass ich deine Bilder/Arbeit nicht schätze.

I love all of the power lines pulling the energy of the image in different directions. The plane is a visual bonus and adds an element of humor. Very nice work. Are the white specks artifacts? Dust on the CCD? Stars? This is the only distraction here.
