About I recently had tye pleasure of spending a day in Tokyo with a photographer friend from Hong Kong. This is one of the modernistic water buses we were queueing to catch... and the modern scultpure in the background is known as the "Flying Turd."

Wow I never realized Tokyo was so futuristic looking,.. until I had been indulging in your cityscapes! Fabulous! :O)

Roger, I really like your composition on this. Tack sharp, and a good feeling of depth.

While I see what Murilo was suggesting, somehow your version is more expansive, less crowded. As for the sculpture: what else would they call it? lol. Perfect.

Roger, very nice picture and great title! As I was browsing, I couldn't resist seeing what the 'flying turd' was.

Aside from the humor, it is a very nicely done shot with a lot of elements to treat the viewer.

Dear Debra, that is not what the creators of that massive sculpture called it--they chose some pretentious name that no one can remember. The name I gave it is its common nickname! Glad you liked it... There are less polite versions, too. These I leave to your imagination. [g]

I like it very much, Murilo Rafael, and the reason it didn't occur to me is that my orientation is towards panoramas... I love them, and tend to see them everywhere. It seldom occurs to me to zero in as you have done here. I'm a little less happy with the higher saturation, as the colours were actually more like how I left them.

Hello Roger!
Beautiful place, nice cityscape!
Very well composed!
Widescreem mode is cool, but, in my opinion this photo could be better with a crop!
I took the freedom to modify a little this image and to show a different point of view! What do you think?
Congratulations and regards...

[] Murilo

Putting the old Voigtlander to good use, I see. This is a fine travel type photo that could be used in a brochure to good purpose.

A well done futuristic view, we have arrived in fuure already it seems. You get the very best out of that film and lens combo !

A very pleasing composition, Roger, with its mix of horizontals and verticals. Sharp as a tack, as ever, with lots to interest the eye.
Best regards, Chris
