Thanks guys, after I look at it with your comments I dont much care for the sepia, and neither did she! she said Oh no mommy made me look old! lol... I am still learning my sepia methods, usually use the duotone effect and play with the values of that, is there a better way? Yes Jeff I see what you mean about being too artisitic for school but that is exactly whats not being done, altough I agree this one is a bit much. I would love your comments on all my school series pics because i highly value it. I also need to know what would sell. If you all have kids and preferred to try a pro over the school, what would you like for your kids that I have done? ~mandy

don't like the sepia here. to much yellow in it. needs to be softer with more red. but the pose is adorable.

I do like where you are headed with this but it may be too artistic a direction for school photos. Perhaps you are better off leaving them in color and concentrate on poses like this. I agree about the lack of sharpness, was that intentional? If so, it also may be too artistic for school photos. If you want to differentiate yourself from everyone else, see what they do and do something different - more dramatic lighting or background for example.

I agree about the tone being a bit heavy...I would also like to see it a bit sharper...
